2.01 FEATURES
A. The Digital Watchdog PTZ Dome Camera shall be equipped with a 1/4” Interline Transfer CCD.
B. The PTZ Dome Camera shall produce 520 TV Lines in the horizontal direction for color images and
570 TV Lines for black-and-white images.
C. The lens shall offer a focal length that varies from 3.8 to 33 millimeters. The PTZ Dome Camera shall
provide 10X Optical Zoom and 10X Digital Zoom.
D. The PTZ Dome Camera shall offer a maximum panning speed of 360 degrees per seconds. Digital
Watchdog’s Vector Drive Technology shall accomplish pan and tilt motions in the shortest path and
shall reduce time for the camera to move to its target view. The PTZ Dome Camera shall offer a
panning speed as low as 0.05 degrees per second, making it easier for users to set a desired target
view.
E. During the day, the PTZ Dome Camera shall operate as a color camera, and the camera shall be
capable of switching to black-and-white in low light conditions. At low light conditions, the PTZ
Dome Camera shall use ambient IR light to capture black-and-white images. The PTZ Dome Camera
shall be built with an IR cut filter. When the camera is operating in the day mode, the IR cut filter shall
filter IR light for precise color reproduction. In the night mode, the filter shall be removed for greater
light sensitivity.
F. The PTZ Dome Camera shall be built with the 3D-DNR (3D Digital Noise Reduction) feature that filters
the noise in video images, especially in low light conditions. The feature shall allow the camera to
produce more color at night and to reduce the amount of storage space required to record the video.
G. The PTZ Dome Camera shall include Digital Watchdog’s Star-Light technology, which offers super low
light imaging for any application.
H. The PTZ Dome Camera shall be built with a BLC (Backlight Compensation) technology that
automatically gives the camera the necessary light level compensation and provides a good image of
the subject in the foreground when there is a bright source in the background. BLC is usually good
when there is a subject of interest, like an ATM machine.
I. The PTZ Dome Camera shall be built with 2 sensor input and 1 relay output.
J. The PTZ Dome Camera shall include an ICON-driven OSD (On-Screen Display) menu with a built-in
joystick that will make programming quicker and easier.
